This renovated detached cottage is situated in eight acres of
sheltered land with magnificent views over the Moray Firth and lying five miles
north of Inverness. Tastefully furnished and decorated, it provides a
splendid base for exploring the Black Isle, Loch Ness, Aviemore, and the
West Coast. There are many walks in
nearby woods and along the shores of the Moray Firth, where it may be
possible to see otters, seals and dolphins.
For the bird watchers there are kites
and buzzards, and for animal-lovers there are the deer and red squirrels,
and of course our own friendly sheep and cattle. A
short car journey will take you to the local villages of interest such as
Cromarty and Fortrose. The larger towns of Dingwall and Inverness are
within easy reach, with all the facilities they provide.
Activities nearby include golf courses, riding, a wildlife
park and a theatre. Shop and pub are located at North Kessock, just two miles
away.
